2019 Volleyball season now here!

School is about to start and that means it's for more exciting FHCS Volleyball!  If you are interested in participating, please see note below concerning physicals and contact Coach Brooklyn Sherman for more information on Junior High Volleyball.  For High School Volleyball information, please contact Coach Melanie McCarty.

All FHCS or home school student athletes must have a current sports physical on file to participate in FHCS Athletics.  FHCS is unable to provide sports physicals here at the school this year.  Contact your local physician today to schedule a physical!

Junior high team takes 3rd in nekpl tournament

The FHCS Junior High team battled long and hard to take home 3rd place in the NEKPL Tournament held at Bishop-Seabury Academy in Lawrence on Saturday, October 13.  After several hard fought matches including victories over Heritage Christian Academy and St. Xavier, the Warriors defeated CHIEF to secure the #3 spot.  The tournament MVP for FHCS was Katelyn Kephart in a tournament that saw significant contributions from entire FHCS team.  Special thanks to Coach Kephart for leading the way!  Way to go, Warriors!




2017 Volleyball Season Highlights

Junior High team finishes second in 2017 NEKPL Tournament!

The junior high finished their season on a high note by taking second place at the annual Northeast Kansas Parochial League Tournament hosted by FHCS on Saturday, October 15. The junior high defeated CHIEF for the fourth time in four games this season and St. Xavier but fell 2-1 to eventual tournament winner Veritas Christian School.  Congratulations to the team and coaches Corey Kephart and Christie Warren.  Go Warriors!

2016 Volleyball Season highlights

Junior High Volleyball Team Wins 2016 NEKPL Championship!

The Junior High Volleyball Team Won the Northeast Kansas Parochial School League Championship Saturday at the Beacon Center in St. George.  After losing to CHIEF 2-0 in the second round of the tournament, the Warriors rallied and defeated Topeka Lutheran 2-0, St. Xavier 2-0, Veritas 2-1 and CHIEF 2-0 to win the title!  Congratulations to the 2016 Junior High Volleyball Team and special thanks to Coach Keith and Assistant Coaches Melinda Hinton and Christy Warren.  Go Warriors!
